Key Personnel

Dr David Week
David's six-year involvement with the ADG (Phase II and III) as strategic adviser as well as sector specialist and active content partner added valuable development experience to the project.

He is also an executive of the International Development Contractors (IDC) group, has presented at Knowledge Management / ICT for Development events, co-chaired a Virtual Communities conference and co-researched a Computer Mediated Communications project.

David was instrumental in the early orientation of the ADG in 2003 and has since helped to steer the ADG on its successful path to an interactive knowledge exchange driven by a community of practices.

In his role as strategic adviser for the Australian Development Gateway he facilitated the fundamental shifts from passive website to a virtual community model; and from ICT-driven project to a project that supports and actively promotes knowledge exchange models in the aid and development sector. In so doing, he applied his development expertise to make the ADG a useful tool for the development community itself.
