Chris Davenport, based in Scotland, has 20 years of architecture experience, and a long association with Assaí. In the 1980s, Chris spent seven years living and working in Papua New Guinea, first for VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas), and then as architect-builder with David Week and Ken Costigan at CBBP. Chris was responsibile for design and project management of buildings in a number of provinces.

Chris's expertise includes work on historic buildings, the design of rural buildings in sensitive landscapes, commercial and community buildings. He has managed projects for Assaí in various locations in Papua New Guinea including low and medium cost housing, government buildings and educational facilities.
