About Assaí

Since inception in 1984, Assaí (formally Pacific Architecture) has extensive experience with countries and cultures in the Asia-Pacific, as well as corporate organisations in Australia. It has carried out more than 200 projects to date in Australia, East Timor, India, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, and Vietnam. Assaí also has associate offices in Papua New Guinea, Samoa, East Timor, and Chile.

Within four principal areas of practice, Assaí offers a complete range of services, from strategy and project inception to project hand-over and ongoing monitoring.

Assaí has twelve full time staff in the Sydney office and one in PNG. In addition, Assaí has assembled a team of 20 associate experts whose combined experience and skill are capable of large infrastructure, project management, architectural and planning projects.

As it is ISO 9001 certified, Assaí has procedures and systems in place to ensure quality control on international projects. All staff work on high-end graphics workstations running MiniCAD, Word, Excel, FilemakerPro and MS Project, enabling a systematic approach to all tasks.

Assaí's management philosophy is to use software and systems to achieve tangible improvements in planning, monitoring, information handling and resource allocation, and to apply these to meet client milestones and budget expectations.
